About: 

This Training Programme will broaden the knowledge and understanding of public transport operators and authorities in renewing their bus fleet and introducing key concepts and principals of bus vehicle procurment and commissioning.

The programme combines theoratical learning, best practices, workshops and enables the particpants tp learn and compare procurement processes for different bus propulsion technologies: diesel, electric and gas.

                           The Tender Procedure, developed by UITP is already for years the leading document with regard to Tenders in the Public Transport Sector.

Accepted and appreciated by all Operators, PT Authorities and Suppliers.
The MENA Tender Structure is an update, released in 2018. This document meets the requirements of the Bus Industry in MENA region.
Definitions, benefits and recommendations as well as the structure of the UITP Tender procedure will be presented.
